Just over a year ago on All Fool’s Day, April 1st that a certificate dropped though the letterbox in TMRP’S Bridge Street premises, but Maria Dockerty from Thorne Moorends Regeneration Partnership is no fool. She knows that by strengthen links with Doncaster Chamber it’ll create a mutual success in a working business partnership – a true win-win scenario! Maria explained,
“Membership of the Chamber will open doors to brand new business opportunities for us. That’s why we’ve just become part of over 1000 strong business network in the local area. Before we applied, we looked at the statistics, which we found very impressive. Since 1941 Doncaster Chamber has looked after the interests of over 20% of registered businesses within the Metropolitan Borough of Doncaster which equates to 80% of the employed people of the Borough that’s approximately 43,000 employees - therefore membership made complete sense.”
She added,
“The Chamber currently holds the privileged position of being the only independent business owned and business led organisation that exists to improve commerce. This is a position held for over 65 years since the Chamber was created by local companies, to add value and contribute to their success and the success of the Borough. This uniqueness should not only be remembered, it should be promoted and exploited, for in contrast with many organisations, the Chamber remains a demand led organisation whose prime objectiveis the survival, growth and expansion of member businesses which now includes us at Thorne Moorends Regeneration Partnership!”
